This quote really speaks to how life used to be for me.

I was so busy checking off my ‘to do’ list, putting out fires, juggling a million things, trying to please everybody. Trying to live the life I thought others wanted me to live. In the end I was spending a lot of time and energy dealing with a life I really didn’t want.

Albeit it took me a while to realise that for myself! Eventually I realised that what I really wanted was to live a deeply authentic and meaningful life. And to do this I had to start by really getting to know myself. All the thoughts, feelings, patterns and beliefs that were driving my old behaviours, which had created my old life.

It was seriously confronting at times! We can be so conditioned by our families, our environment, and our culture. And, it was wonderful too – to work out what really brings me alive. And to realise it all starts on the inside and slowly align my outer life to that. I went on a big journey to work out what an authentic and meaningful life looks and feels like for me.

I would love to know what an authentic and meaningful life looks and feels like for you?

With great warmth

Jo
